Igneous came into our herd as a result of our 2023 kidding season giving us mainly doelings and the lack of us having a junior herdsire to breed those doelings to.  I simply do not like to use a mature buck on young does.  Thus I started my search for a buckling I felt would fit that need and stumbled across Igneous.  Lucky me!!  Not only is he my favorite color for a Nubian but his dam, Cinnabar was 2nd place 2-year-old with 2nd place udder at the 2023 ADGA National Show.   Cinnabar has the general appearance and mammary system I am looking for when considering a herd sire as well as the extended pedigree being strong on both sides.  Igneous it appears is going to be an easy going buck which is very important to us at this stage in our life.
